Extraordinary Experiences
At home, everyone was waiting for me.
“When are you starting your journey tomorrow?” Dad looked into my eyes and asked.
“At five in the morning,” I sighed and looked at him.
“So, you stay in Kainady Motel tonight, isn’t it?” I saw a touch of sadness in my mother’s face.
“Yes,” I nodded, taking a deep breath.
Without saying much, I walked towards my room. I had already arranged my luggage and checked it again – Clothes, certificates, passport and so on. I was satisfied.
Our Core Values
Everyone was silent at the supper table. I sat there dazed, unable to handle the situation. The air was filled with anxiety.
“Be careful.” Dad reminded me. “”Stay out of harm’s way.”
“Hum…” I replied with a gray smile of agreement.
I looked at my mother, her face flushed. She tried to say something, but she couldn’t. I quickly withdrew my eyes from her.
Time: 8:30pm. I got ready to leave.
“Be careful,” My father reminded me again. I felt his voice was little shaky.
I picked up my luggage and quickly walked out, unable to face them. I walked fast without looking back.
“You should be careful…” I could feel my father’s voice follow me.
